Digitization of Indian Air Cargo
We believe that India as a nation can be completely covered through Air within maximum of 4-6 hours. It is our belief that if Line-haul (Inter City Movement of Cargo, with distances greater than 500 Kms) connection among Top 6 Indian Metros can be done within maximum of 4-6 hours, we can realistically achieve same-day delivery of goods among top Metros of India.
In order to keep our services offering profitable, we will like to keep a slight commission of around 1% from the end Customers on the total cost of goods serviced. Also, we will like to keep our services updated in terms of recent global happenings in Technology, like RFID (Radio Frequency Identifiers), GPS (Global Positioning Systems) etc. and Analytics, like Choice of Airline and Flight, keeping in mind to optimize both the TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) and the TAT (Turn-Around Time) involved.
While working for Singapore Post Group and Delhivery.com, Mr. Soumya has been extensively exposed to Indian Air Cargo, more so with it's growth after advent of e-Commerce in India. We have tried to validate our Business Idea relating to Air Cargo as far as possible on our part. Rest other domains of our work are Odisha-specific in nature, because we are predominantly based out of Cuttack. We feel it will be nice if we don't waste opportunity of working in a local logistics problem.
